They celebrate hugs as a way to express their love and warmth; however, covid-19 restricted people's outdoor activities, making it harder to meet other people. As a result, some people can only see their friends, family, or loved ones through online Apps.
YnM approached Red Cube in the hope of making a commercial for international hug day under current special circumstances. YnM is a leading bedding brand on Amazon. Its main product is weighted blankets which are claimed to improve sleeping quality by providing a feeling of being hugged. Our concept involves presenting 7 different hugs around 7 different families. The 7 hugs respectively are a female soldier hugging her daughter after returning from the war, teenage hugs his parents before going to college; a sister hugging her little brother after he accidentally falls from a bike, father hugging his baby after witnessing its first step, good friends hug each other after an amazing trip, disability athlete hugs her coach after won a running race champion. We introduce YNM's weighted blanket so the audience can associate it with the feeling of being hugged, which they might have been missing for a long time due to covid–19.
